For ten years, Lispring has been focusing on the R&D and production of wave springs and spiral retaining rings in the past, present and future, aiming to provide reliable and satisfactory products to global high-tech customers. We welcome your inquiries at any time.
Advantages:
Provides 2–3 times the load of a standard single-turn wave spring
Can replace stacked single-turn springs
Eliminates misalignment and inconsistent loading
Lower cost compared to stacking single springs
Simple and quick to assemble
Robust, tangle-resistant design supports automated handling
Applications:
1. Bearing Preload
In high-load applications, three-layer springs generate the strong force required for heavy-duty bearing preload. Preloading is essential to minimize noise and vibration in the assembly.
2. Valves
When pressure is applied to sealing surfaces, the nested wave spring compresses to keep the seal closed. As the seal wears, the spring continues to press the seal tightly against the surface. Its ultra-thin profile and high force make it ideal for compact valve assemblies.
3. Connectors
In connectors, the male side rotates along the groove profile of the female side, while the dual-turn nested wave spring applies preload between the layers. The spring delivers high force in tight radial and axial spaces.
4. Cable Assemblies
A dual-turn nested wave spring replaces stacked single-layer wave springs to deliver the needed force to secure both ends together. The limited stroke allows for necessary movement to disconnect the ends when required.
5. Thrust Seals
Where precise sealing force is needed, a dual-turn nested wave spring provides greater load than a single-layer spring. The accurate pressure it delivers to the sealing surface ensures effective sealing while minimizing wear.
